- Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is seeking services to furnish, maintain, repair, and inspect washers and dryers. All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management and other services (including engineering/technical design support), items and incidentals necessary thereto. This acquisition is 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812310 and the small business size standard is $6M. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires the use of Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in Federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission process. All prospective contractors submitting an offer in response to the subject solicitation must go to https://orca.bpn.gov/ to add or update its ORCA record. All responsive offerors will be considered by the agency. The successful contractor will be selected using lowest price technically acceptable, resulting in the Best Value to the Government after determining the technical acceptability of offers. Past performance is significantly more important than price. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 15 September 2008. The entire solicitation will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Site at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. You may download the solicitation and fax your quote in. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code).
