Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. GSA Schedule bids are requested. If bidding with a GSA Schedule, the requested items must be on that schedule. The schedule must either be in the seller’s name or the seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner’s schedule. Solicitation number N62786-08-T-0503 applies. Quotes must be received by 12:00 p.m. ET on Monday, September 22, 2008 to be considered. The RFQ, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20080812. Fax or e-mail proposals are authorized and shall be received no later than date and time for receipt of proposals at (207) 442-5305. E-mail address is harmonjm@supship.navy.mil. The proposed acquisition is being processed utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that award will take place on or before 26 September 2008. Supervisor of Shipbuilding, C&R, USN Detachment San Diego has a requirement to reconfigure/update existing office space to better accommodate existing and future personnel. It is requested that vendor provide design of an office space supporting 47 personnel including: 11 offices; four-person cubicles; three-person cubicles; and individual cubicles with computer stations and/or desks (including any internal wiring required for lighting and LAN); chairs; overhead storage compartments (including lights); work tables; bookcases; wardrobe cabinets; filing cabinets; and visitor chairs. As well as a lunch room with tables and chairs, a conference room with tables and chairs, and a copier room with tables and and cabinets. Installation will be within the confines of the SUPSHIP office space located at General Dynamics, NASSCO, Bldg 15, 2nd Floor. Pricing shall consider design, furniture, and installation. Install date is currently TBD (to be determined). Bidder must provide proof of 3rd party liability to work on General Dynamics, NASSCO property. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities, utilities, supervision and management necessary to provide and install required office furniture
