- Department of Veterans Affairs; VA Boston Healthcare System, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301, Surgical Service has a requirement to procure a Bronchoscope and Stent Placement Kit. It is required that the contractor meets the following requirements: Modular, stainless-steel, "hollow tube" bronchoscope with an innovative universal instrumentation barrel which provides an airtight connection of the interchangeable, color-coded bronchial and tracheal tubes. The universal instrumentation barrel should also be equipped with two ports for axial and lateral instrumentation with a lateral port for ventilation and anesthesia. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Capabilities: Deep biopsy Lung cancer diagnosis Photographic documentation Laser therapy Foreign body removal Dilation of stenosis Cryotherapy Electrocautry Silicone stent placement Accessories to include: Rigid telescopes of varying degrees and diameters Rigid forceps Metallic obturator caps and accessory ports Dumon-style tracheobronchial silicone stents Y-stents Fiberoptic Light Cables Silastic Obturator Caps Delivery Instructions: Please deliver to Department of Veterans Affairs, West Roxbury Campus, 1400 VFW Parkway West Roxbury, MA 02132, Operating Room A fixed price contract is anticipated and will be awarded. The NAICS code for the procurement is 325412with a standard size in number of employees is 750. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. All concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide a Bronchoscope and Stent Placement Kit, brand name or equal, must request a solicitation. All requests for this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Contractor Kimberly Perkins at Kimberly.Perkins3@va.gov no later than September 22, 2008.
