Description

The Defense Media Center Contracting office intends to award a sole source contract, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 USC 2304(c)(1), to SeaChange International, 50 Nagog Park, Acton MA 01720. In FY07, DoD HQ-AFRTS had a requirement to upgrade the Television Automation system that was originally purchased by Soldiers Media Center for use at AFN-Korea in Feb 2004. This purcase was made in April 2007. The 14 channel Seachange TV Automation system is still under warranty by Seachange International and Seachange is the only source to maintain the original warranty. This instant procurement is for a SeaChange MediaCluster Annual Support and Sundance Digital TotalCare Premier Support with a period of performance from date of contract award through 31 Aug 2009. Total estimated value is $39,000.00. NAICS Code is: 334220 with a size standard of 750. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
