Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-09-Q0041 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. (iv) This procurement is being issued as 100% Small Business set aside under NAICS code 811310 with a size standard of $7.0 million. (v) CLIN 1: Annual Inspections and Tests on Cranes and Hoists in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). (vi) CLIN 2: Service Calls during Regular Duty Hours in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) - estimated at 150 hours a year. (vii) CLIN 3: Service Calls during Weekend Hours in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) - estimated at 15 hours a year. (viii) CLIN 4: Service Calls during Holiday Hours in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) - estimated at 10 hours a year. (ix) CLIN 5: Reimbursable Parts will be included as a line item in the contract. (viii) Period of Performance is 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009. Place of Performance: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. (ix) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
