- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.. This solicitation number W912NR-08-T-0041 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. This solicitation is 100% small business set aside and is restricted to small businesses only in accordance with FAR 19.502-2(b). NAICS for determination of size status is 238210; Small Business Standard is $14 million. CLIN 0001: Contractor is to provide all labor and materials required to remove all existing telephone and network data lines in the main armory offices. To include the patch panels in the current network communications area. Install phone drops (approx 71) and data drops (approx 95) using CAT6a network line in each office terminating into 4 each 48 port patch panels, two for phone and two for data, in the existing telecommunications comms closet in the HQs area, and 2 each 24 port patch panels, one for phone and one for data, in the HHC telecommunications comms closet area. Install Cable Tray for network and phone above the ceiling approximately 250 in the front hallway. Install J hooks for network and phone above the ceiling in the left and right hallways and hallways by supply room. Sketch of building available by request to patti.woods@us.army.mil. Location is 256 Armory, 1806 Surrey St, Lafayette, LA. CLIN 0002: Contractor to provide all labor and materials required to Remove all existing telephone and network data lines in the main armory offices and the distant learning classroom and offices. To include the patch panels in the current network communications area. Install 2 each phone and data drops (approx 46) using CAT6a network line in each office (see attachments) terminating into 2 each 48 port patch panels, one for phone and one for data, in the open area in front of the existing Telecommunications comms closet in the HHC area. Install 1 each 12 strand multi mode fiber optic cable and 25 pair telecom copper (approx. 250 ft.) in 2 conduit from the existing Telecommunications comms closet in the HHC area to the Distant Learning center Comms Closet terminating the fiber optic into 2 fiber breakout housing into the same areas respectively. Install two each 66 block in those same areas respectively for the 25 pair copper. Install 1 each 12 strand multi mode fiber optic cable from old network closet fiber breakout box to the relocated network fiber box as stated above (see attachment) in the HHC area. In the Distant Learning Classroom and offices: Remove all existing telephone copper and network lines in the DL Classroom, to include the network switch and housing. Install 2 each phone and data drops (approx 32) using CAT6a network line in each office and in the DL Classroom using existing raceway or if necessary. Terminate all Data and Telecom into 2 each 48 port patch panels, one for phone and one for data in the Distant Learning Comms area. Terminate both the 12 strand multi mode fiber and 25 pair copper using fiber breakout box and 66 telecom block into the Distant Learning Comms area.
