Description
SCOPE OF WORK Contractor will supply all plant, labor, equipment and materials necessary to expand three Exhibit Buildings an additional 12 feet. Contractor will have to cut existing back wall of exhibit and exhibit buildings to construct the expansion of these exhibits. Project location is at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center, Fort Peck, Montana. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Contractor will expand three existing Exhibit Buildings an additional 12 feet from their current length. An attached generic drawing shows existing buildings and layout of expansion. The building expansion shall have: Two Four foot dividing walls to the ceiling built between the Log Cabin and Tavern and between Mercantile Building and Tavern. Log Building will have ceiling log beams where they are currently located and ceiling boards will be 1 inch by 6 inch smooth pine boards. Walls can be an acceptable natural log siding or same as existing logs. Walls, ceiling and floor will be stained/treated with approved color. Mercantile Building will be built around Video Room as shown on drawing. Mercantile and Tavern Buildings will be sheet-rock, taped and painted to existing or approved color. Mercantile and Tavern Building ceilings will 9 foot tall. Floors for all buildings will be pine tongue & groove boards. Thickness will depend on Contractors floor support design. Ramps will be made for the two door way entrances for handicap accessibility. Floor will be stained/treated with approved color. Contractor will construct "build in" access to floor electrical accesses and outlets. Access will not be for everyday use but for maintenance purposes only.
