Description
Clin 0001 is canceled due to MilCon project. Please do not qoute on Dorm 402. However please quote on the following: CLIN 0002: Dorm 406 approximately 1435 sq yards of carpet and 3670 linear ft of carpet cove base. Quantity: 1 unit CLIN 0003: Dorm 408 approximately 1376 sq yards of carpet and 3672 linear ft of carpet cove base. Quantity: 1 unit CLIN 0004: Dorm 409 approximately 1376 sq yards of carpet and 3672 linear ft of carpet cove base. Quantity: 1 unit CLIN 0005: Dorm 418 approximately 1045 sq yards of carpet and 2961 linear ft of carpet cove base. Quantity: 1 unit The RFQ has been extended until 12 Sept 2008, due to discrepancies in Statement of Work. Please notice that the carpet is in Square Yards. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 20th Contracting Squadron, 20 CONS/LGCAA at Shaw AFB, South Carolina intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a 100 percent total Small Business Set-Aside Firm-Fixed Price contract for Installation and Removal of Carpet. This requirement is an End of Year (EOY) requirement. No funds have been obligated at this time. If for any reason, the funds do not become available, the Government is under no obligation for reimbursing any costs. Also, please ensure quote will be valid until 30 Sept 2008. This acquisition is under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested, and a written request for quotation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA4803-08-Q-B012. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238330, with small business standard size $13 million. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This requirement is for: Service nonpersonal: Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, material, transportation and supervision to install new and remove old carpet and covebase in Dormitories 402, 406, 408, 409, and 418. The Contractor is responsible for field measuring of carpet to insure exact amount of carpet and covebase required to complete this installation. The measurements given are an estimate. Contractor shall install in a professional manner as per the attached Statement of Work. Contractor is responsible for all field measurements and must do a site measurement before bidding.
