Description
The Marine Corps Logistics Command(MCLC) in Albany, Georgia intends to solicit and negotiate a firm fixed price indefinite quantity type contract for Long Block Assembly (Kit) for the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) 6.5 Liter engine NSN 2815-01-461-7078. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be used. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 17 October 2008 with a response due date of 3 December 2008. The requirement will be procured using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. It is the Government's belief that only GM manufacturer or authorized GM distributors can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all its components. North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 333618; size standard is 1,000 employees. Requirement is for the quantity of 50-250 each/year for the base year and two option years. Delivery schedule: 1 each First Sample is due within 45 days ARO; Second Sample 1 each d! ue 30 days after approval of First Sample. Ship to: Defense Distribution Depot (SW3121). FOB Destination pricing is required. NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Such offers must be supported by information to enable the government to evaluate an offeror's ability to provide this item without the government providing technical data.
