- 6. DESCRIPTION The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Ikon Office Solutions, Inc. 1612 State Highway 7 Troy, NY 12180 to provide one a twelve (12) month with a possibility of one (1) option year lease of one (1) production level configuration Ikon Color CPP 650 Copier. Ikon is the only company capable of providing the CPP 650 Copier due to the current machines and devices already networked and calibrated together. The CPP 650 as equipped is only available through Ikon and is the only copier capable of providing consistent color, calibration and alignment when networked to the existing devices. The CPP 650 color table is 100 percent color compatible with the devices already in use in our other production areas. The following specs are a requirement of our need within a copy machine: -Durability to withstand high volume printing and copying -65 pages per minute in full color and monochrome engine copier, printer and scanner -CREO Print Controller -Document Feeder-Automatic -Hard disk drive with additional disk space and memory upgrade -Staple finisher with multi-position stapling up to 100 pages -Folding unit with 6 different folds, 2-3 hole punch, and post sheet inserter -Saddle stitcher capable of 200 page books with face trim -Paper feed unit: dual 3,000 sheet feeders total 6,000 additional sheets with dual large capacity paper tray -Internal print driver and scan driver including installation and training -Production feeding and finishing options- Perfect binder glue binding 15-300 pages -Production feeding and finishing options- Print Shop mail 5.X Windows Fiery Version -Dehumidification heater -needed for feeding unit -Buffer pass unit with cooling function-needed for finishers -Includes maintenance on the machine and parts and labor -Full supply of toner -Print allowance of 200,000 images per month Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within six(6) days after the publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 423420. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
