Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4704-08-Q-1062. This RFQ is for a contractor to provide the following new items listed below to the HDI Federal Center in Battle Creek, MI. This is a brand name or equal requirement. If an equivalent item is offered, offeror must provide technical data sufficient to show comparability to the requested items. The offeror shall provide a price for each contract line item number (CLIN) in the bid schedule. Please call if requesting a site visit. B.2 STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR DES CONFERENCE ROOM A. Existing Room Conditions Room Dimensions: 18 feet wide by 28 feet deep Ceiling Height: 96 inches Table: Oval with dimensions of 54 inches wide x 14 feet long. The table seats six people on each side and one at each end for a total of 14 people. Projection Screen: There is an existing manual wall screen to be replaced. Hitachi 50” Television: Hitachi Television is located in the front N/E Corner of the room. Administrative Support Station: This is located in the back S/W corner of the room. Floor Box: Currently there is one floor box that has a single CAT5 cable pulled to it. VCR/DVD Player: An existing unit is located in the cabinet of the Hitachi 50” Monitor and is cabled to view on the 50” monitor. TV Tuner: An existing unit is located in the cabinet of the Hitachi 50” Monitor and is cabled to view on the 50” monitor. B. Upgrades Required 1. Infrastructure Floor Boxes: Install One Floor Box to gain access for table infrastructure, the floor box infrastructure should include: - AC Power - Network - Computer/Audio Input Table Box: Install One Extron Cable Cubby 600 table box or equal in the conference table to gain access to: - AC Power - Network - Computer/Audio Input - AMX Touch Panel 2. Presentation Projection Screen: A DaLite 54” high x 67” wide Wall Cosmopolitan Projection Screen with a low voltage interface control or equal. (installation by GSA) Video/Data Projector: A Sharp 3300 Lumen DLP Video/Data Projector or equal will be ceiling mounted in the Room. DVD/VCR Player: The existing unit will be integrated into the System. TV Tuner: The existing unit will be integrated into the System. MAV Matrix Switcher: An Extron MAV 44 AV 4x4 Composite Matrix Switcher or equal to allow for four composite video/audio inputs and four composite video/audio outputs in the system. RGBHV Matrix Switcher: An Extron RGBHV/Audio 4x2 Computer/audio Switcher or equal to allow for four computer/audio inputs and two computer/audio outputs in the system. Equipment Rack: A Middle Atlantic BRK-20 Equipment Rack or equal will be used in the system. 3. Video Conferencing: Hitachi 50” Television: Hitachi Television is located in the front N/E Corner of the room and will be used as the second display for incoming Video Conferencing. Codec: Integrate a Polycom VSX-7000E Codec with a Power Camera and with IP capabilities and with a PRI Interface or equal. 4. Audio Conferencing Audio Conferencing: A ClearOne RAV-600 Audio Conferencing unit or equal will be used on the table. The system has built in noise and echo cancellation. Each of the two microphones coverage is 360 degree with a radius of eight feet each. The system also includes two ceiling speakers. Program Audio: A ClearOne RAV-600 or equal will also be used for audio from the computer, DVD/VCR, TV Tuner, and Video Conference sources. 5. Audio Visual Control System An AMX NI-2100/ICS Network Controller or equal will be used with a NXT-CV10 10” Modero Color Touch Panel with video preview or equal will be located on the Conference Table and/or at the Administrative Support Station. The Control System will have the following functions: - Screen Up/Down - Projector On/Off - VCR Player Control - RGBHV/VGA Source Select and Destination Control - Video Source Select and Destination Control - Camera Controls - Codec Control - Audio Conferencing Dial Up, Connect, Disconnect, Mute, and Volume Control - Program Audio Level Control - TV Tuner Control Design & Engineering: Contractor will provide the following Documentation as Deliverables on the Project. - AC Power and Conduit Drawings - Video One Line Drawings - Audio One Line Drawings - Control One Line Drawings - Instructions Manuals - Programs Training: Contractor will provide Training as required for the System.
