- Description
- This modification/amendment is issued to address questions received regarding this requirement. Question: Could you provide more information regarding types of parts to be plated? Answer: There is really no way to give a list of the parts that get plated as it is done on an as needed basis. They do a lot of steel bushings and steel hardware items that are usually cadnium plated and aluminum aircraft parts that they get anodized. They did say that 90% of the parts that they get plated would fit into a one square foot area. But that being said even though the part might fit into a one square foot area they might give them 100 of those parts at a time to get plated.
