Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W23A7C81211000 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-26. It is the foundation of the system and is normally the Phase I installation. The CAD system is constructed so that data is used efficiently and emergency units are sent to the scene in a timely manner. The CAD software will make routine suggestions based on the a Geo-File or closest unit if the Automatic Vehicle Locator software is in place. Beats, zones, sectors, may be broken up and assigned to street locations in the Geo-File. The CAD software interfaces to NCIC, CJIS, NLETS, E-911, Local Warrants, Mobile Data Terminals, ESRI mapping, and many others. Mapping allows the user the capability to use ESRI shape files created by the site or purchased in a commercially available format. Mapping is Wireless 911 Phase II compliant and can be displayed in both the dispatch center and in the mobile environment.
