- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. F3PF178241A001 The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) This acquisition is set aside for small business NAICS: 339113 Small Business size standard: 500 employees See attachments for replacement parts for the MSA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), FireHawk M7 Responder Air Mask and C.A.R.E. training requirements for the Mask. Mfr: Mine Safety Appliances Justification for Brand Name Only: The requirement is for replacement parts for the MSA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), FireHawk M7 Responder Air Mask currently used by Air Education and Training Command Fire Departments. In addition USAF Responder Certified Air Mask Repair Education (C.A.R.E.) Training shall be provided for the mask. Offerors will provide one unit price per line item on the Consolidated AETC Bid Sheet regardless of ship to address for each item. One unit price will also be provided for C.A.R.E. training requirement on a per student basis inclusive of instuctor travel and lodging. Standard commercial warranty will apply to all parts. Delivery will be made to the addresses and POCs indicated on the individual bases bid sheets. Price(s) should be FOB Destination for each of the locations named in the Bench Stock listing. In addition to Price and delivery quote should include your cage code, DUNS Number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested delivery date for bench stock items is 30 days After Receipt of Order. C.A.R.E. training must start as soon as possible after contract award and be completed by 1 December 2008 at all locations indicated in the C.A.R.E. Training Requirement. Evaluation of offers will be made on a low price technically acceptable basis. Contractor must posess the technical capability or be able to obtain the capability to provide all parts and training. Award will be made to the contractor who has the technical capability and offers the lowest price. IAW FAR 52.212-3, Reps/Certs shall be completed on line at http://orca.bpn.gov.
