- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, intends to award asole source contract with a hybrid firm fixed price and cost plus fixed feepricingstructure to Ficosa International of Centro Tecnologico Pujol y Tarrago,PoligonoIndustrial Can Magarola, Carretera C-17, Km13, Mollet del Valles, 08100Barcelona, Spain, in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1: Only OneResponsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy AgencyRequirements. This contract will acquire a high frequency fractal antenna withradome, Model CFHF-NAVAL-01000, Part Number 3118644002C5, for U.S. Navytest and evaluation under the DoD Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT)program. This contract will include an option for engineering support servicesand an option for a 1/48th scale model of the antenna. This sole sourceacquisition has been approved by the DoD FCT program office. The Space andNaval Warfare Systems Command issued a sources sought synopsis for thistechnology on August 11, 2006. There were no responses to this synopsis andthere are no other known sources for this technology. The North AmericaIndustry Classification Code is 334220 and the FSC code is 2090. The totalestimated value of this contract is approximately $700,000. The estimatedperiod of performance is from date of award to 30 September 2010. This noticeof intent is not a request for proposals. However, all responsible sources maysubmit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which will be consideredbythe government.
