Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is W911S1-08-T-0080. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 effective 12 June 2008. FedBizOps Numbered Notes per FAR Part 5.207-13(e) apply: 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 611699, Administrative All Other Miscellaneous School and Instruction. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 8299 Schools & Educational Services. This requirement is being solicited as a small business set-aside and the size standard is $6.5M. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. Award will be made to the vendor which offers the best value to the government. The Government also reserves the right to make no award at all. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, plant, and materials necessary to provide Family Assistance Program (FAP) training services. Provide FAP an established and ongoing schedule of trainings and events insuring attention is given to child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and sexual assualt training requirements. Provide specific mandated training opportunities for installation leadership, and key personnel, Child and Youth Servcies personnel, Staff Judge Advocate, medical professionals, Chaplains, DoD Police, and others and conduct annual installation-wide awareness campaigns during April and October for child abuse and domestic violence.
