- Description
- The Naval Media Center (Washington DC) has a requirement to procure Promax Equipment. The Navy intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order under the authority at FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Request for Quotations (RFQ) number N49872-08-Q-0159 shall be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Page at the NECO Website as follows: http:// www.neco.navy.mil by 3:00 PM EST on 25 September 2008. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the RFQ and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Failure to register in the CCR database will deem a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Quotations are preferred in electronic format and should be directed to: brenda.j.harley1@navy.mil.
