Description

Marine Corps Special Operation Command, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to Rockwell Collins Inc, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52406, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement is for Upgraded software, peripherals (cable’s, antenna’s ect) and training. This is a Command and Control system that is associated with current Radio and GPS hardware. This system has proprietary software and training associated with it. Also was found that these items are direct replacements of parts, software and components for existing equipment compatable with Rockwell Collins equipment for MARSOC, Camp Lejeune, NC to supplement existing displays. Interested firms must submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 4:00 PM, Aug 25 2008, via facsimile or email. Solicitation H92257-08-Q-0003.
