- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9115U-08-T-0016 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-18. United States Army ABNSOTD requires two (2) UNICOM Hatch Mounted Satellite antennas with Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) capability certified for use on a U. S. Air Force C-130 aircraft. In addition to providing pricing, each Offeror must provide documentation that the sat-com antenna can be mounted on an escape hatch door certified for use aboard a U.S. Air Force C-130 aircraft and that the antenna will be capable of receiving GPS signals. The following CLIN line applies to this requirement: CLIN 0001 UNICOM C-130 Hatch with integrated GPS Antenna (Part No. 001526-AD-AS-AA) (2) each ____________. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. This requirement is being procured under full and open competition. Quotes are due by September 29, 2008, at 12:00p.m. ET. Destination shall be United States Army ABNSOTD, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. CCR Requirement - Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial applies to this acquisition. The selected Offeror must complete the requirements in FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items at https://orca.bpn.gov/. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Quotes will be evaluated on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable basis. Failure to comply with the above instructions or terms may result in quote being determined as non-responsive. Quote is to include all fees, including shipping or freight costs. Please provide your estimated delivery schedule in the comments portion of the buy.
