- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotes are due to the 55th Contracting Squadron no later than 12:00 PM local time on 29 September 2008, and shall be valid for at least 30 days to insure sufficient time for the distribution of funds. Quotes shall be submitted via e-mail in a Word, Excel, or PDF format to A1C Derek Urban at: derek.urban@offutt.af.mil or fax at 402-294-4096. The soliciation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and small business size standard are 423830, 100 employees. The government intends to issue a purchase order for: Item 1: Epoke SW Sirius 3500 spreader, or equal, with the following specifications: 1. Self contained, hyraulic wheel drive system 2. 3 cubic meter hopper plus 1 cubic meter hopper extension 3. Off-load roller and support leg system 4. Single spinner assembly (2-12 meter spread width) 5. Electric spread symmetry 6. Epobasic controller 7. Central grease bank 8. 100MM X 100MM screen 9. Single beacon light and work light to include PDI 10. Setup and training to slide into a 5-ton dump truck at Offutt AFB, Nebraska Please include delivery to Offutt AFB, Nebraska in the pricing. Also, please include an estimated delivery timeframe after receipt of an order. *Note 1: Any "or equal" item shall meet the specifications listed above. *Note 2: The government will evaluate "or equal" submittals prior to award CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) PRIOR TO AWARD.
