- The 325th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to Chemtek for the purchase of a Findlay Irvine Griptester with custom made Heavy Duty Transport (HDT) Water System and Wheel Lift System. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. Quotes are not being requested and written solicitation will not be used. The justification for this sole source procurement is to continue mission support in the evaluation of airfield pavements. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 25 Sept 08. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 effective 12 June, 2008 and DFARS Change Notice 20080124, North American Industry Classification System Code 333120 and Size Standard of 750 employees apply to this procurement.
