- NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS: The 37th Contracting Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base intends to award a sole source contract to Manufacturing Engineering Systems (MES) 4 Choke Cherry Road, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850 for the acquisition of Trainer Maintenance Services. MES will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, management and other items necessary to maintain government owned trainers, static display equipment, training devices and training equipment, and other services to perform trainer maintenance services for a period of two (2) months at Lackland AFB, Wilford Hall Medical Center, and Medina Annex, TX. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to award to one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received within one (1) calendar day after date of publication of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. All responsible sources may submit a quote by close of business on Thursday, 25 Sep 08, which will be considered by the agency. No solicitation or request for quote is available.
