Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement, Tactical Radio, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This Request for Quotation is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code applicable to this solicitation is 334220. The small business size standard under this NAICS code is 750 employees. Requested items is as follows (descriptions below table list). PRC6999-BBS-HTB Thales or Harris JEM Urban 2m Immersible Radio 1 EA GRC6781 Thales or Harris 20W Base Station 1 EA 1100634-502 Thales or Harris 4m Single Channel Antenna Kit 1 EA Thales or Harris Battery Li-Lon Rechargable 4.8 11 EA Thales or Harris Speaker Microphone 11 EA Thales or Harris Earphone for Speaker Microphone JEM/MBIT 11 EA Thales or Harris Single Shot Li-Lon Battery Charger 11 EA Thales or Harris JEM Urban radio 2m immersible 11 EA Nellis AFB is soliciting BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. Currently, the only other JTRS approved radio that can be considered is manufactured by Harris Corporation. Harris accessories that match will be accepted if the quote is all from the Harris brand, and vise versa. Additional item descriptions are listed below (based on Thales Brand, in order as listed): JEM Urban 2m immersible radio, US Type 1 COMESEC encryption, includes SINCGARS HAVEQUICK and ANDVT waveforms. Includes one each 30-90 MHz blade antenna, 90-512 MHz antenna, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, Accessory Bag, Operator's Manual and Quick Reference Guide. 5yr warranty on transceiver, 1 yr warranty on other items. 20 W Base Station - assembly consists of: 1-VA MA6943; 1 power supply; one external speaker, one speaker microphone, and pelican case. 4m Single Channel Antenna Kit for Tactical Repeater TRC6730A or Base Station. Battery Li-Lon rechargeable 4.8 ahr Speaker Microphone Earphone for Speaker Microphone JEM/MBITR Single Shot Li-Lon Battery Charger MBITR (120/240 VAC) Clear handheld MBITR radio urban system, commercial 2m immersible, includes one each. Lithium ion racharable battery, holster, carrying case, 1m VHF blade antenna, and a operator card. Retransmission functionality must be included. Quotes must be fully responsive to be considered for award. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation.
