- Description
- The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, Tampa, FL intends to solicit, negotiate and award a requirement contract for the disposal of regulated non hazardous waste (General Solid Waste), for the base period of one year from the date of award, with four option periods of one year. Option years will be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Contractor Responsibilities. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools equipment and supervision necessary to provide collection, storage, removal, transportation, and disposal of regulated non hazardous waste (General Solid Waste) that is generated at the hospital (excludes hazardous waste). This also includes rental/disposal of a 30 cubic yard waste compactor and rental/disposal of 20-yard construction debris dumpsters (both contaminated and non-contaminated). The contractor shall comply with all current county or municipal, state, and federal laws, regulations and guidelines when collecting, storing, removing, transporting, disposing of and/or recycling all wastes. The contractor shall also provide containers on an as-required basis. The contractor must be authorized (franchised) to perform these services by the Hillsborough County Solid Waste Management Department throughout the effective period of this contract. NAICS for this requirement is 562111, with a size standard of $11.5 M. The electronic version of the solicitation will be issued on or about 27 August 2008 at this website. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. Any amendments or additional information to this solicitation will also be available at this website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information to this solicitation.
