- It is the intent of the General Services Administration to issue a solicitation (Request for Quotation) for a construction award for painting and carpet replacement at the US Post Office/Federal Building, 904 W. Riverside Ave, Spokane, WA 99201 (see attached Request for Quotation GS-10P-08-XC-P-0125). All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Scope of Work and associated drawing. See the Scope of Work and associated drawing in the solicitation package for requirement details. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. Contractor personnel are required to obtain GSA security clearances, which require background checks. Contractors must be registered and active in CCR (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Work associated with this project is subject to the U.S. Department of Labor, General Wage Decision for Washington (number: WA20070007 Modification 9 dated 09/19/2008) (see solicitation for full text of wage decision). All interested vendors are highly encouraged to attend the site visit for a thorough understanding of this requirement. There is a site visit scheduled for Monday, October 06, 2008 at 10:30 AM Pacific Time. Participants of the site visit shall meet at the GSA Office in the US Post Office/Federal Building at 904 W. Riverside Ave, Room 135, Spokane, WA, 99201 with Mr. Andy Andruzak, GSA Project Manager. The Construction project magnitude is less than $25,000.00. Performance period is Forty (40) days from issuance of the official "Notice to Proceed". The Government reserves the right to request a cost/price breakdown in sufficient detail to determine cost/price reasonableness from one or more offerors after receipt of offers. The Government reserves the right to negotiate with one or more offerors after receipt of offers. This procurement is being set-aside for Small Business, all responsible & responsive sources submitting an offer will be considered. No bonding is required. Certificate of Liability Insurance is required.
