- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-08-Q0731 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. (iv) This procurement is being issued as an UNRESTRICTED acquisition under NAICS code 333314 and small business size standard is 500 employees (v) CLIN 1: 1 EA K23000227 - IV8000 IPLEX FX Base with battery, or equal CLIN 2: 1 EA N2950030 - IV8435 IPLEX FX 4mm 3.5M Scope, or equal CLIN 3: 1 EA N2951000 - IV84-AT120D/FF IPLEX FX Tip Adapter, or equal CLIN 4: 1 EA N2950900 - IV84-AT120D/NF IPLEX FX Tip Adapter, or equal CLIN 5: 1 EA N2951100 - IV84-AT120S/NF IPLEX FX Tip Adapter, or equal CLIN 6: 1 EA N2951500 - IV84-AT50D/50D FX Stereo Maj-1, or equal CLIN 7: 1 EA N2951600 - IV84-AT50S/50S FX Steroe Maj-1, or equal Equipment must be portable and lightweight. Power supply to be AC and battery. Equipment must met MIL-STD 810F for vibration, shock, water resistance, humidity, saqnd and dust. Must meet MIL-STD 461E for electromagnetic interference and explosive atmosphere. (vi) ) Delivery to be FOB Destination, Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ, within 30 days ARO. (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (viii) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (ix) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer. (x) All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), that failure to register in CCR by Monday, September 29, 2008 at 1:00pm (PST) will make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractor must also have NAICS code listed in this solicitation on their CCR Registration. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
