BRIEF BACKGROUND: Fort Riley Military Survey series compliments implementation of the Army Family Covenant (AFC). Accordingly, the Commanding General (CG) of 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley requests preparation, administration and analysis of an unbiased, scientific survey to determine the factors that forces the Soldier to either bring their family to Fort Riley or leave them at their previous duty station. Fort Riley requests for an independent military family survey team to analyze and provide results on why Fort Riley Kansas based/stationed soldiers decided to move or not to move their families to Fort Riley during their permanent change of station (PCS). The survey seeks to determine the demographics and analysis of factor that led to the decision. Furthermore, Fort Riley is trying to determine what factors do and don't entice a family to go with the soldier. Fort Riley anticipates having two reiterations of the family surveys to be conducted February 1, 2009 and July 1, 2009 in order to present at the Community Partnership Conferences (CPC). INTERESTED contractors shall submit brief company capabilities, to ensure understanding of the Fort Riley Military Family Surveys no later than September 29, 2008 by electronic means to wilfredo.delatorre@us.army.mil For additional information, contact Mr. Willie Delatorre at (785) 240-3196.
