- SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS 70 - Arc GIS Data Appliance to include On-Site Installation and Configuration Support This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a), a Sole Source acquisition under the authority of the test program for certain commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. This Notice of Intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The applicable NAICS Code is 511210 and FSC Code 7030 applies. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Contracting, Philadelphia Office (FISCN) intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract, on a sole-source basis, with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI), Vienna, VA for the following appliance with software licenses and maintenance options: 1 each, ArcGIS Data Appliance USA/World Collection ; 1 each, ArcGIS Data Appliance On-Site Installation and Configuration Support; 2 each, 1TB Disk Drives for Data Appliance; Standard Yearly Renewal for ArcGIS Data Appliance USA/World Collection for Initial Two-Socket Server purchase to include annual update for the application data collection and continued right-to-use license of the applicable data collection. This software licenses, which are proprietary to ESRI, Inc., are being procured to meet current mission requirements. Interested parties may identify their technical capability to respond to this requirement and may submit information that shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia Division.
