- Description
- The purpose of this market survey is to identify to the Government potential sources interested in this procurement as either the prime contractor or a subcontractor. The CECOM Software Engineering Center (SEC) is responsible for providing life cycle software support for Mission Critical Defense Systems (MCDSs). The goals of the SEC are to: 1) establish/maintain Post Production Software Support (PPSS) for fielded systems, and 2) provide software engineering support for systems both deployed and under upgrade. The contractor shall support the PPSS for the AN/FSQ-208(V) Global SATCOM Configuration Control Element (GSCCE), with the PPSS effort. This contract will establish the requirements for level of effort base contract of one year, with five one year options, for the acquisition of PPSS. This PPSS support will consist primarily of the correction of software defects/deficiencies/errors, updates to the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellite database, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) patch corrections, and the implementation of software refinements and enhancements to the operational and support software for this system. The CECOM Acquisition Center does not intend to award a contract on the basis of your responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information presented or the use of any such information. All proprietary information should be marked as such. Responses indicating interest in this procurement as a prime or subcontractor is also requested.
