Description
The Fort Carson Directorate of Contracting, Mission & Installation Contracting Command intends to award to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOB), a sole source, firm fixed price contract to VETPRIDE SERVICES., 206 East D Street, Erwin, NC 28339-2707. This procurement is for upgrading the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Security and Access Service Maintenance Support used by Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH). The upgrade is for fourteen each cameras in Pharmacy in-patient and out-patient; five each cameras with audio and 19 LCD monitor in the Emergency Department; five each cameras with audio, two each 19 LCD monitor, one DVR, three each door access readers with video/intercom/door release station in the ICU; and reworking the command center by adding 6 each LCD monitors, one DVR with 3-terabyte storage Sataboy, and re-racking CCTV equipment. One year warranty for parts and service on equipment installed is required. VETPRIDE SERVICES is the current service provider for maintenance and repair of the existing Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Security and Access Service Maintenance Support at EACH. This acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR 6.302-5: Authorizes or required by statute and FAR 19.1406, Sole source awards to SDVOSB. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 1 day from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in SUFFICIENT detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due 30 September 2008, 2:00 p.m. MST.
