Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N0010409RQ070 is being issued as an unrestricted Request for Proposal (RFP) under the NAICS Code 611430. The Naval Acquisition Career Center (NACC) has a requirement for leadership training utilizing a commercial off the shelf (COTS) solution. The Navy is currently focusing energy in the sequential development of its leaders. In so doing, there is an emphasis in building awareness around better understanding individual levels of leadership ability, with the intent to improve individual and group performance. The Navy is acquiring new members to the workforce through several vehicles; one being the Navy Acquisition Workforce Intern Program. Through this venue the acquisition community leaders of tomorrow are inducted into the civilian Navy organization; to be successful they must appreciate a shared and executable vision and enhance self-awareness and engagement in continuous self-assessment, development, and fostering a commitment towards life-long learning. Establishing a solid basis of leadership competencies in a standardized, structured program is critical to building a! foundation in the Navy leadership architecture
