Description
The purpose of this modification is to include attachment one (1) pictures, and attachment two (2), answers to questions received. Attachment 1 is available per email request to marvinia.j.adams@us.army.mil. Attachment 2 questions and answers for W912CZ-08-FRA-99505A are as follows: 1. It seems from the pictures that I can provide an open top dumpster into which the hoppers can be dumped. Would that be satisfactory? ANSWER: See Contract section, ARTICLE II: The Purchaser, It reads: 1. Purchaser should use a flatbed vehicle or dump truck with open top for brass and scrap metal pickup. Brass and scrap metal will be contained in separate Government furnished bins. Purchaser is responsible for securing load on their vehicle. Purchaser will have five (5) working days to return bins to Government in the event they remove filled bins. 2. I am preparing to send a bid deposit and I would like to verify the delivery address for FedEx packages, the payee and the form of payment accepted for the deposit. I have Regional Contracting Office Alaska, 724 Quarter Master Road, Fort Richardson, AL 99505 as the location for send the bid deposit. Is this correct? Is the payee for the deposit USAG Alaska Direct Sales Authority? Finally, is a company check an acceptable form of payment for the bid deposit? ANSWER: A company check is acceptable. The mailing address is: Regional Contracting OfficeAlaska, 724 Quarter Master Road, PO Box 5-525 Fort Richardson, AL 99505. The check should be made payable to US Treasury as directed in the solicitation on page 3, 6(c), as well as noting the check with FRA QRP or FWA QRP. 3. The solicitation states on page 4, Article III, 1 (a): facsimile or telegraphic offers may be submitted in response to this request for proposals; can I send the bid deposit via FED EX because by sending the proposal via facsimile or telegraphic would cause it to arrive prior to the bid deposit and not together as requested in the proposal. ANSWER: Sending the bid deposit via a courier service is acceptable. Due to the ability to send bids via fax or email but not bid deposits, receipt of bid deposits have been extended and are due on or before the close of solicitation. Ensure the contract number is displayed on front of envelop/package being mailed. END OF QUESTIONS Solicitation Remains Unchanged, and Response Date IS NOT Extended
