- Description
- The Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division's Facilities and Administrative Services Staff, intends to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13, to Hub Realty Funding, Inc (HBFI) c/o Reit Management of Washington, DC. The DOJ has a lease with HRFI for space in the building located at 20 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC and intends to request HBFI, and/or their agent(s), to provide supplemental/overtime air conditioning for the aforementioned building on an as requested basis. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written inquiries shall include a detailed statement of qualification or past performance in providing a cost effective alternate means of mechanical plant and distribution system in lieu of the lessor provided [publicly traded] utilities to operate the in-place building mechanical equipment/distribution. This information must be provided, via fax, to the attention of John Schrecengost, DOJ/JMD/FASS/RPMS, on 202-307-1915. No telephonic responses will be accepted on this action. Inquiries must be received by October 24, 2008 by 12:00 P.M., EST. - Government-wide numbered note 22 applies to this action.****
