This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be used. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect in the FAR. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business. This is a firm-fixed price procurement and requirements will be procured using commercial item procedures. A best value award selection will be made based on price and other factors in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. Upon award, the Government will issue a contract to the selected Offeror. REQUIREMENT: Seal Coat Asphalt: Provide all labor, equipment, and materials to perform the following: 1) Sweep and clean as needed approximately 201,000 square feet of asphalt. 2) Seal all cracks with hot rubberized crack sealer, treat all oil spots with oil sealer and apply two coats of commercial grade sealer suitable for weather in Alaska. 3) Responsible for providing traffic control during seal coat application period. 4) Re-stripe parking lot and aircraft ramp to existing layout with an approved DOT traffic paint. Aircraft Ramp area is to be completed in two phases to allow for movement of aircraft. All work is to be completed in 270 days after contract award. Magnitude of work to be performed is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Late Offers: The Government may consider quotations received after the time specified if award has not been made. **FAR 52.212-02 Evaluation--Commercial Items(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
