- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) under RFQ number DOL-10-0896-8328 (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-26. (iv) This solicitation is being issued as UNRESTRICTED under NAICS code 334111 with a size standard of 500 employees. (v) This is a Brand Name acquistion. The Justification in Attachment B is being posted in accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6). Attachment A "Cisco Product List" provides a list of the equipment being procured under this solicitation. Vendors are requested to submit the "per unit" and "total" price for each CLIN listed in Attachment A. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The CLINs provided in Attachment A represent the Cisco Hardware switches required for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM) Local Area Network. (vii) Delivery for the items listed in (v) above shall be made 30 days after the date of award. Delivery shall be made FOB: Destination, to the following address: US Department of Labor Information Technology Center 200 Constitution Ave, NW Attention: Charmin Miner Room N-1304 Washington, DC 20210 (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) Award will be offered on the basis of Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. (x) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commerical items applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses cited in the clauses under section (b) of this provision are applicable to this acquisition: (1) with its alternate, (15), (16), (17), (18), (19), (20), (21), (22), (23), (24), (31), (36), (39). (xii) Quotations must be submitted via email no later than 3:30 PM, EST, September 30, 2008. Quotations shall be submitted to the attention of Ronald J. Jordan, Contracting Officer, at following email address: jordan.ronald@dol.gov.
