- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is SV0033-08 and is issued as a Request for Proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The North American Industry Classification System code is 323122. This requirement is unrestricted. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to make a sole source award to Progress Printing for a five-year period for print support services. Soliciation document SV0033-08 is attached. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through the website. The due date for quotes is Oct. 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
