- Description
- The VA New England Healthcare System (VISN 1) is currently seeking sources to provide teleradiology services to include interpretation, consultation and reporting of various radiological exams including but not limited to CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Plain Film and Nuclear Medicine. These services are to be performed as needed 24 hours per day 7 days per week. The images will be transmitted from any of the VA Medical Centers located in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. Interest firms are requested to provide information addressing their ability to provide these services for all facilities, including relevant experience including the following. 1. Information regarding the types of services provided commercially. 2. The mechanics of how these services are provided. 3. Normal geographic coverage. 4. Information regarding any certifications and/or accreditations that signify that applicable national standards for quality service are met. 5. Information regarding how services of this type are priced commercially including any differentials for holiday. 6. Any additional information that may be useful in determining how the teleradiology industry operates commercially. This notice does not constitute a request for proposal nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government and is for planning purposes only in determining availability of potential providers. Responses will be accepted by regular mail, fax or e-mail. Respondents are also requested to identify if their average annual revenues are lass than or more than $9M annually.
