- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Hardware/Software Branch, Software Section, (DITCO/PL8321), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to Treehouse Software, Inc., 409 Broad St Suite 140, Sewickley, PA 15143-1554. This acquisition is for a the procurement of Treehouse Software software maintenance necessary for DISA SSO - Mechanicsburg CDTP3, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Bldg. 312, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Treehouse Software has proprietary rights to the software code for the software products associated with this requirement and is the only known source that can provide this maintenance support. No other vendor or distributor can legally obtain access to the software and no other vendor can make duplicate copies since it is protected by copyright and patent laws. The Period of Performance is a One-Year beginning 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software license and enhancement renewal must request a copy of the RFP not later than 6 October 2008 via the following address: dean.cravens@disa.mil. You may fax written correspondence to facsimile (618) 229-9177. Oral requests are not acceptable. The estimated award date is 8 October 2008. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered. The NAICS code is 511210 for this procurement.
