Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is soliciting competitive offers for the supply and delivery of diesel fuel to FAA facilities located in Bettles, Alaska. Deliveries are required between October 1, 2008 - September 30, 2009, according to terms within the Request for Quote. DOT/FAA anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract. Response to the Request for Quote is required by 1:00 p.m., Alaska Time, October 10, 2008. The RFQ and any subsequent amendments are available via written request to the Contract Specialist. No telephone requests will be accepted and the FAA is not responsible for electronic or fax failure. The mailing address is: Federal Aviation, Acquisition Management Branch, 222 W. 7th Ave., #14, Anchorage, AK 99513-7587. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Request for Quote (RFQ) from the internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the RFQ should be submitted in writing either via facsimile (907-271-2326), or via e-mail to: Nichole.CTR.Cruthirds@faa.gov. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
