Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement Hotel and Conference Rooms, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. This Request for Quotation is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code applicable to this solicitation is 721110. The small business size standard for NACIS 721110 is $6.5 Million. Structure contract line item numbers (CLIN) as follows: 1 Lot Hotel and Conference Rooms. The requested item/description is attached below. Quotes should be in the following format: price for each line item independently. Award Basis: Best Value. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation - Submit quotation on company letterhead utilizing the quotation format structure above, also provide documents verifying your company's ability to meet the qualification standards stated. FAR provision 52.212-2. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offer: price, technical quality & capability, features and warranty. Quotes are due on or before 3:00 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time, on 14 October 2008. Requirement is as follows: Background: The Nellis AFB Chapel is hosting a marriage retreat. The location for the retreat and atmosphere of the facility need to be conducive to both group and individual couple dynamics, driving the requirements listed below. The time criterion for this event is primarily driven by the availability of the session leaders and operation tempo. 1. Facility a. Nongaming atmosphere (no Casinos) b. Location should be more than 50 miles from Nellis AFB, but less than 100 miles c. 23 Guest/Suite Rooms • Preferred bed size Queen or King • Must have suite/parlor area (sitting area) • Amenities to include microwave, mini refrigerator, in room coffee service, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, television, telephone d. Must be able to provide all meals during stay (5 total): breakout below • 7-Nov-08 Dinner • 8-Nov-08 Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner • 9-Nov-08 Breakfast e. Require 4 separate meeting rooms with at least 1 room large enough to hold entire group (46 people total) • Meeting rooms needs to be equipped with table and chairs • Must have PA system available 2. Dates for Retreat a. November 7-9, 2008 b. Check-in available before 1700 on the 7th of November c. Check-out after 1000 on the 9th of November
