Description

Provide complete operations and mechanical maintenance services for repair of equipment and systems within the property line of the John F. Kennedy Federal Building including electrical systems and equipment; mechanical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment; fire protection systems and equipment; all control systems that are within the scope of this contract; architectural and structural systems, fixtures, and equipment within the site (to the property line); service call desk operations, to include record keeping using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as well as other administrative functions; maintenance of landscape irrigation systems; locks, keycard systems, static and dynamic bollard systems; and perform minor alterations and renovations at the JFK Federal Building, Boston, MA. The building consists of over 1,000,000 square feet of office space with 27 floors. The period of performance is a 1 year base period, with 9 one year options. The solicitation is open to both large and small businesses. NAICS code is 238220 and the corresponding size standard is $14 M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by GSA. GSA strongly encourages participation by small businesses and the related socio-economic categories of small disadvantaged, women-owned, service disabled veteran-owned and HUBZone businesses. Small businesses that are capable of joint ventures are also strongly encouraged to submit an offer. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or after October 23, 2008.
