- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Washington, DC is seeking information from potential qualified sources including Service Disable Veterans Owened Business, Small Business, Women-Owned Business, and Small Disadvantaged Business. The services are specific support [Continuous Survey Readiness (CSR)Program to include education, expert consultation, and publications] to ensure continued accreditation of VA Heathcare Facilities. This a complex nationwide healthcare system, composed of 145 medical centers and 7 consolidated outpatient mail out pharmacies and their program offices that are accredited by The Joint commission in multiple programs (e.g., Long Term Care, Behavioral Health, Ambulatory Care, Home Care and Hospital programs). This opportunity is composed of four major elements that intertwine to provide a reliable, valid and nationally accepted Joint Commission CSR program: (1) customized education, onsite education, audio conferences and consultation (on and off site); (2) electronic tools and manuals (corporate license); (3) ability to provide CSR consultation (on and off site). (4) provide all VA Healthcare facilities an internet portal where they can access survey reports, education, aggregated facility data and vendor-customer communication. Underlying all of these processes is a very strong expectation of data security and maintenance of patient confidentiality that meets or exceeds VA's requirements. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide the services identified via email to Priscilla.Lee@va.gov not later than 2:00 PM EST October 20, 2008. Vendors are asked to provide three past performance references for the capabilities identified. Include the Project title, Description of the project, Contract number, Contract amount, Government Agency/Organization and Point of Contact, and phone number/email address. Do you hold a GSA contract? If so, please identify Schedule and Contract number? Telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted.
