Description

DARPA seeks new strategies that allow rapid (hours to 7 days) adjustment to high altitudes and other conditions of hypoxia, as evidenced by physiological measures of athletic performance and tolerance of low oxygen tension environments. Ultimately, this will create a prophylactic measure sufficiently advanced in R&D to enter a FDA approved Phase II clinical trial. "See Broad Agency Announcement (BAA)".
