Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue contractual actions with Lockheed Martin Systems Integration (LMSI), Owego on a sole source basis for procurement of production incorporation of the Pre-Planned Product Improvement (P3I) upgrade of the Avionics Maintenance Trainer AMT to support the MH60S and the Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) and associated retrofit support to incorporate P3I upgrade into MH-60R AMT. LMSI is the sole developer and manufacturer of the H-60 avionics and all subsequent upgrades and improvements while in production. As such, LMSI is the only source with the technical data and experience necessary to perform this effort in a timely and effective manner. Note 22 applicable to this synopsis (sole source)
