Description

Heavy Construction - Earthwork Wetland Restoration PLANS WILL BE POSTED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION NUMBER AT WWW.FBO.GOV WITH THE FULL SOLICITATION. BIDDERS/PLANHOLDERS LISTS ARE NOT MAINTAINED BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER/OFFICE. Estimated Range of Contstruction is; $25,000 to $100,000. This project consists of two scrapes totaling 2625 cu.yds., a meander channel 1680 ft. long totaling 3360 cu.yds., an embankment 4000 ft. long totaling 12,030 cu.yds. with a borrow area adjacent to the embankment with 6015 cu.yds. of stripping the borrow area of vegetation. The borrow area will be approx. 50 ft. inside of the embankment and not directly adjacent to the embankment. An inline water level control structure will be installed to control water level elevations, which will include 4 antiseep collars and dewatering. An access route will be shaped to provide access to the site and approx. 2000 cu.yds. of material will be moved to shape this route. A small amount of obstruction removal may be required when encountered such as one tree by the outlet structure. SITE Showing will be 11/4/2008 at 10:00 AM - meet at the USDA Service Center in Portage Wisconsin - 2912 Red Fox Run Rd Portage, WI 53901.
