- DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY UNITED STATES ARMY MEDICAL COMMAND HEALTH CARE ACQUISITION ACTIVITY SOUTHEAST REGION CONTRACTING OFFICE BUILDING 39706, 40TH STREET FORT GORDON, GA 30905-5650 I.INTRODUCTION. A.This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR 5.203 (a), Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only and a solicitation will be issued. B.The synopsis number is W91YTV-09-R-0002. This acquisition is a 100 percent small business set aside. C.The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 621399, Offices of All Other Miscellaneous Health Practitioners. D.This acquisition is unrated under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. II.GENERAL. A.The Southeast Region Contracting Office at Fort Gordon, Georgia, has a requirement for an Ultrasound Technologist (1) FTE to provide services on the weekends at Winn Army Community Hospital, Fort Stewart, Georgia. B.This will be a firm-fixed priced contract with a base performance period of one year and four option years. C.The anticipated release date of the solicitation is October 20, 2008. D.Offerors will have 5 days from the release date of the solicitation to submit proposals.
