- NAICS Code: 541711 The U.S. EPA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with A.G. Scientific, Inc. for 10 milligrams of Carbon 13(13C)-labeled Anatoxin-A Fumarate and 30 Thirty-1 milligram ampules of Anatoxin-A Fumarate.Under this procurement, the contractor shall provide, the 13C-labeled Anatoxin-A Fumarate shall meet the following specifications: 1. No less than 10 mg of Carbon 13-labeled Anatoxin-A Fumarate shall be delivered.2. The Carbon 13 -labeled Anatoxin-A Fumarate shall be produced and delivered shall be the (+)- enantiomer.3. The Carbon 13 -labeled Anatoxin-A Fumarate shall be a minimum 96% pure.4. The Carbon 13 -labeled Anatoxin-A Fumarate shall have a known number of Carbon 13's in known positions that shall not vary. The molecule may have a single 13C.5. Delivery of the Carbon 13 -labeled Anatoxin-a shall occur no later than 100 calendar days after receipt of the order. EPA has identified A.G. Scientific, Inc. as the only provider of commercial equipment able to meet the requirements of this procurement. Subsequently EPA has determined that A.G. Scientific, Inc. is the only manufacturer that can provide the items that can meet the specifications listed above. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, any firm believing itself capable of providing the items with the specifications listed above may submit appropriate documentation within 15 calendar days of electronic posting of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses received will normally be considered solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed on a sole source basis.
