Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has extended the referenced Bridge contract for Operation and Maintenance services in support of the BEP's Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment Plant located Washington, DC for an additional two (2) months. This extension was executed in accordance with FAR Clause 52.217-8, entitled "Option to Extend Services". The period of performance of this extension is effective October 1, 2008 and continues until November 30, 2008. The determination for this extension was made in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-2, entitled "Unusually and Compelling Urgency" because the BEP required additional time to to complete the procurement and award a contract for operations and maintenance services. THIS SYNOPSIS IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT INTENDED TO REQUEST OFFERS FROM OFFERORS. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED.
