- Description
- The Department of Energy (DOE) is re-competing its DOE Nationwide Professional Skills Training Program. The program includes Program Management, Project Management, Acquisition & Assistance, Financial Management, Interdisciplinary Continuing Education, Technical Headquarters Training, Supervisory Training, Ancillary Support Services, Miscellaneous Training, and Project Management Career Development Program. Course descriptions will be available in the solicitation. The work would require the firm to provide expertise in the design and development, up-grading of existing course materials and course delivery anywhere in the U.S. The majority of the work will be delivered on a firm fixed price basis via Delivery Orders. The solicitation also has a requirement for training needs, studies and general training support services, which will be acquired on a time and material basis. Delivery of courses will be at various DOE sites throughout the country. This Solicitation is 100 % set-aside for Small Businesses under NAIC code 611710. Small Business is defined as $7 million in average annual receipts over the last three years. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Firms interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation must register at the Department of Energy's Industry Interactive Procurement System (IIPS) located at https://e-center.doe.gov/. No paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. This is a re-competition of DOE's Nationwide Training Contract. The previous contract's term and the new requirement is 5 years. It is estimated that the solicitation will be available early to mid November 2008.
