Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation HSCG80-09-Q-3FA008 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-27. The NAICS code is 336611 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This is a total small business set-aside. Commercial contractor to conduct side scan inspection onboard USCGC CORMORANT (WPB-87313) 87 foot Patrol Boat located at 242 Allens Avenue; Providence, RI 02903. Work to commence on or about period from 3 November 2008 to 20 November 2008. Exact start date to be determined by Dry-dock contractor schedule. Work shall be in accordance with attached specification. Contractor wishing to visit an 87’ WPB may inquire about visiting one of the cutters currently in dry-dock. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items (Sep 2008) applies to this acquisition. Evaluation and Award: The government intends to award a contract resulting form this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation provides the best value to the government. No other additional contractual terms and conditions are applicable. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating are assigned.
