Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation HSCG80-09-Q-3FA008 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-27. The NAICS code is 336611 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This is a total small business set-aside. Commercial contractor to conduct side scan inspection onboard USCGC CORMORANT (WPB-87313) 87 foot Patrol Boat located at 242 Allens Avenue; Providence, RI 02903. Work to commence on or about period from 3 November 2008 to 20 November 2008. Exact start date to be determined by Dry-dock contractor schedule. Work shall be in accordance with attached specification. Contractor wishing to visit an 87’ WPB may inquire about visiting one of the cutters currently in dry-dock.
